8 immunity boosters drinks, shake recipe!
It is important to eat healthy food also in our day-to-day life where we eat a bulk of junk. So to balance the bad and good bacterias in our body it is important to consume healthy drinks. The drinks and shakes shared in today's article are great immunity booster and a lot of other benefits too. You can easily add these shakes to your diet
Note: But, in case If you have any allergy or certain medical condition then avoid that or consult your family doctor.For eg: papaya is a great immunity booster but it is not good during pregnancy. Wheatgrass does not suit everybody. So, keep your body conditions in mind.
Now, let's start making our immunity boosters without wasting any more time!
1.Turmeric Milk
It is a healthy Indian drink which is made with just 2 ingredients i.e turmeric and milk. This is a very old-age-traditional remedy that is used usually in many Indian homes and still works great than artificial medicines in some cases.
- Take 1-2 cups of milk and heat on low medium flame in a pan or saucepan.
- Heat the milk for about 2-3 minutes and once it is heated properly turn off the gas then pour the milk into the glass.
- Add 1/4th teaspoon of turmeric powder and mix well.
- Drink milk a little hot.
Benefits of turmeric milk:
- Reduces Inflammation and joints pain.
- Has antibacterial properties.
- Improve the memory.
2.Turmeric Tea
- Take 1 cup of water in a pan.Add1/2 tablespoon of sugar. (jaggery or maple can also be used instead of sugar)
- Once the water starts boiling, add 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger. (dried powder) and 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon(Ceylon)
- Add 1/8 teaspoon of crushed black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Then boil it for 2 minutes and pour the tea into a mug/cup. Strain the tea while pouring.

- Helps to prevent diabetes.
- Improves lung condition.
3.Orange Juice
- Peel the oranges and add all the segments into the grinder/blender.
- Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice(optional, don't add it if your oranges are too sour)
- Blend it 3-4 times for few seconds until the mixture becomes pulp.
- Then strain with the help of a strainer and a spoon.
- Serve orange juice fresh as it cannot be stored for long.
Benefits of orange juice:
- Good source of vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Folate.
4.Almond Milk
- Take 11-12 badams and soak them in normal water for a night.
- Then remove the badams from the water and peel them.
- Add these badams into the grinder+1 tablespoon of sugar.
- Pour 1 cup of chilled or room temperature milk. Then grind well. Make sure that you grind the badam properly.
- Once you blend the badam milk, put it in a saucepan then heat it for a minute.
- Stir occasionally so the milk doesn't get stick to the bottom of the saucepan.
- Serve the badam milk hot, you can garnish it with a rose petal.

- Good source of Vitamin E+D and calcium+iron.
- Low in calories and sugar.
- Lactose-Free.
5.Strawberry shake/smoothie
- Rinse+hull and then chop the strawberries(1 cup), put them into the grinder/mixer.
- Add 1 diced banana. Pour 1/2 cup of thick milk or coconut milk. You can add 1 tablespoon of sugar(optional)
- Blend until it becomes smooth.
- Serve it with some extra strawberries.
Benefits of the strawberry shake:
- Protects heart.
- Increases good cholesterol.
- Lowers the blood pressure.
- Protects from cancer.
- Filled with fibers and vitamins, low calories.
6.Ginger Tea
- Take crushed ginger and powdered 3-4 cardamoms.
- Add 4 cups of water in a saucepan and add 2-inch grated ginger and cardamom.
- Boil this ginger water for about 7-8 minutes till the color of the water changes.
- Then add 4 tablespoons of sugar and give a boil for 1 minute.
- Now, add 2 tablespoons of black tea(tea leaves) and simmer for another 3 minutes till the color of the water becomes blackish red.
- Pour 1/2 cup of hot milk and simmer lightly.
- Then strain the tea into the cups and serve the ginger tea hot with Indian snacks like sugar-free biscuits, samosa, or bread pakora.

7.Pomegranate Smoothie
- Separate the pomegranate arils and put them into the mixer/electric juicer maker or blender.
- Then blend it very well.
- Now add 1 cup of almond milk and 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder+1 tablespoon of sugar.
- Blend the almond milk with pomegranate juice.
- Serve this smoothie chilled.

8.Lemonade
- Take 1 glass of chilled water.
- Then add 4-5 tablespoons of lemon syrup. (you can also squeeze 1/2 lemon with the help of a squeezer if you don't have syrup)
- Add 2-3 tablespoons of powdered sugar. (If you will not add powdered sugar then you will need to mix the lemonade with a spoon until the sugar melts)
- This can be really a great immunity booster as well as a refreshment drink. It can be easily by anyone as it needs only 3 ingredients.
